| Representative test samples can be easily and reliably produced with HAVER Sample Splitters. |
| These sample reducers form two representative partial quantities by means of alternately arranged dividers. |
| They are available in two different sizes and with different sized dividers depending on the product. |

| The divider consists of a number of alternatively arranged partitions with openings at the top and at the bottom. |
| The material is collected in alternate receivers. |
| The main advantage of the apparatus is that the sample is divided over the whole "corss-section". |
| The material has to be distributed regularly over the whole length of the sample splitter. |
| In general, the grater the number and the smaller the divisions, the better will be the splitting. |
| However the number of divisions depends on the grain size of the sample material. |
| One of the split samples is rejected. The other may be split again and again by the same operation until |
| the required quantity for test sieving is achieved. |
